FAQ's
“Moim” means gathering in Korean, and MOIM Collective is a twice-monthly gathering for Asian women to dive deep into their beliefs, values, and goals, and share in community with one another to create a more collaborative approach to healing and growth.
Although many of the topics will be relevant for POC, it will be most relevant for Asians and 1st/2nd generation children of immigrants. If you’re a 1st/2nd generation child of immigrants and the topics resonate, you are more than welcome to join even if you do not identify as Asian.
The MOIM Collective will run in 3-month increments to foster a sense of connection and momentum within the group. The topics will vary each month.
There will be 2 monthly calls, with each session lasting 60 min. Expect to spend 2-3 hrs a month to attend the live calls + time for reflection questions and exercises
Workshop calls are the 1st week of every month and social circles are the 3rd week of every month.
Most calls are scheduled for Thursday evenings at 4PM PST / 7PM EST, but are subject to change depending on the cohort’s availability which we will cover during the onboarding process.
If you cannot attend a session, you will have access to the call recordings for 1 month after each session (to maintain privacy and protect the vulnerability of the shares on the calls).
MOIM kicks off its inaugural welcome on Oct 21, 2021 and the first workshop session begins November 5, 2021.
